PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge making it possible to adjust an initial elastic force imparted to a door. SOLUTION: The hinge 10 comprises a support frame plate 12 secured to a stile 16 to support a pivot 11; a rotary plate 13 rotatably attached to the pivot 11 and secured to the door 29; a torsion spring 14 attached to the pivot 11; and an adjusting part 17 provided at the support frame plate 12. The adjusting part 17 has an inclined part 22 having an inclined surface 21 and capable of moving toward or away from the pivot 11; an adjusting screw 23 for moving and positioning the inclined part 22; and a fixing screw 24 for fixing the inclined part positioned. The end 30 of the torsion spring 14 is caused to abut against the rotary plate 13 and the end 31 of the torsion spring is caused to abut against the inclined surface 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
