The invention relates to a blade holder for a blade tool head (1), whose periphery and front face can be equipped with cleavers and flat blades respectively, to a blade that can be used in said holder and to a corresponding blade tool head. Said blade holder comprises a mounting surfac e (6) for a cleaver (7) and an adjacent inclined mounting surface (4) for a fl at blade (5), in addition to blade fixing elements (9, 10, 11) for detachably fixing the cleaver and the flat blade to the respective mounting surface. According to the invention, both blade mounting surfaces (4, 6) have respective holder contact surfaces with a V-shaped cross-section and the bla de fixing elements are direct fixing elements for directly fixing the cleaver a nd the flat blade, each of which has corresponding inclined V-shape blade conta ct surfaces, to their respective mounting surface, with a retaining force that acts between the inclined V-shaped contact surfaces. The inventive blade has on its lateral side an oblique bearing region (34 to 37), which permits both blades to lie flat against one another or in a linear manner. The blade hold er can be used e.g. for machining blade tool heads in the timber processing industry. |
