PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION UNIT, CARD TYPE INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification unit with which identification of a person can be accurately carried out and in which an identification object is extremely hard to forge.

SOLUTION: The personal identification unit 100 has a finger mark detecting sensor 40 to detect an operator's finger mark and a brain wave detecting sensor 50 to detect an operator's brain wave. A brain wave detected by the brain wave detecting sensor 50 is processed by an index extracting part 60 to extract at least one index. First comparing information to be compared with the finger mark is stored in a first comparing information memory part 82. Second comparing information to be compared with at least one index is stored in a second comparing information memory part 84. When the operator is identified as a registered person based on a result in comparison between at least the one index and the second comparing information and it is decided that the operator is still alive, an identifying part 70 outputs a signal indicating the operator is true.
