PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a methacrylic resin molding material excellent in quality at a low cost with high productivity. SOLUTION: A dispersing phase based on methyl methacrylate is subjected to suspension polymerization using water as a dispersing medium to obtain a beads-like polymer which is, in turn, subjected to extrusion molding to manufacurs a methacrylic resin molding material. The beads-like polymer of which the water content including surface adhered water is 1.5-4.0 mass % D.B. is used to be subjected to extrusion molding by a twin-screw extruder having two or more vent holes and constituted of a material equal to or more than SUS 420J2 in corrosion resistance to acrylic acid on at least a cylinder internal surface, a screw surface and a die internal surface.
