<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove harmful factor and substance for image formation from the periphery of a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has an image formation unit 6 where at least the photoreceptor 13 is housed in an image formation case 12 and only an aperture 17 for transfer by which a part of the photoreceptor 13 is exposed is formed as an aperture through which the harmful factor and substance for the image formation possibly flow in the image formation unit 6 in the state of being attached in the main body case 1 of the image forming apparatus and an air adjusting means 11 to remove the harmful factor and substance for the image formation flowing in the image formation unit 6 from outside. Also, the image forming apparatus has a closing means 38 to cover a slit-shaped exposure port 21 formed at the image formation case 12 where the surface of the photoreceptor 13 is exposed with latent image forming light for forming an electrostatic latent image with a transparent member 22a in a state that the image formation unit 6 is attached in the main body case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
