PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for accurately tracking a location of a mobile station even in a service area of a private base transceiver station, and that is easily materialized. SOLUTION: This system comprises a visitor location register and a private base station controller. The visitor location register stores location information related to a wireless network location of a mobile station. When a mobile station registers its location for the private wireless network, the private base station controller stores a location information on the wireless network location of the mobile station in the visitor location register. When the mobile station remains idle for a fixed period of time, the controller confirms the location of the mobile station by dummy paging and updates the location information stored in the visitor location register.
