PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heating type fryer allowing the cleaning work inside an oil tank to be performed easily and securely. SOLUTION: The square-shaped oil tank 2 of the electromagnetic induction heating type fryer is made of a non-magnetic material so that the oil tank 2 itself does not generate heat. On the other hand, a food storage container to be stored in the oil tank 2 is made of a magnetic material to be an oil heating body 17 by making the container generate heat by the action of electromagnetic induction as a work coil 8 mounted on the outer periphery of the oil tank 2 is electrified.
