PURPOSE: A car A/V(Audio/Video) system is provided to enjoy the DivX(Digital video eXpress) video by installing a DivX decoder to a signal processor in order to play the DivX video as well as an audio CD, the MP3(MPEG level 3), and a DVD(Digital Versatile Disc). CONSTITUTION: A reader(10) reads the data stored in a storing medium such as the CD-title and the DVD(Digital Versatile Disc). An A/V controller(30) receives/plays the A/V data and withdraws/plays the A/V data selected by an inputted output signal. A display part(40) receives/outputs an operation state of the A/V controller, a list of the A/V data stored in the title, and a playback state. A signal processor(50) decompresses/converts/outputs the A/V data into an analog voltage signal. A button part(20) searches the A/V data list, selects/plays one of the A/V data list, and controls operation of the A/V controller. An output device(60) receives/converts/outputs the analog voltage signal into the audio signal. The signal processor includes an MP3 decoder(52), an MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)-2 decoder(54), and a DivX decoder(56).
