PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-processing apparatus and an image-processing method, capable of embedding information about high-definition static images, corresponding to a frame forming a moving picture into encoded data of the moving picture by electronic watermarks. SOLUTION: Continuous static images are inputted from a camera 2, encoded by a static image encoder 6, and stored in a storage device 12. In this case, information about the static images is generated as watermark information in a watermark generator 9. Meanwhile, the continuous static images are converted into moving pictures of a predetermined resolution in a reducing device 3, and the moving pictures are encoded in a moving picture encoder 4. In a watermark-inserting device 10, the watermark information is embedded into the encoded moving picture by an electronic watermark, and stored in a storage device 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
