PURPOSE: A method for setting an L2VPN(Layer 2 Virtual Private Network) bidirectional tunnel supporting a QoS function and distributing configuration information by using scalability of an LDP(Label Distribution Protocol) is provided to supply a VC connection with a tunnel connection by using an MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switching) technology, and to supply an L2VPN control function in order to give a transparent LAN service, thereby implementing an easy setup and efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A PE(Provider Edge) 3(43) sets an additional CE(Customer Edge) 31(44), and sets a layer 2 connection between the PE 3(43) and the CE 31(44)(401). The PE 3(43) requests information on other PEs(402), and obtains information on a PE 1(41) and a PE 2(42)(403). If the PE 3(43) transmits a label mapping-request message to the PE 1(41)(404), the PE 1(41) sets a unilateral tunnel connection(405). The PE 3(43) checks whether a basic session exists, and if not, the PE 3(43) sets a new session and transmits a label mapping-request message to the PE 2(42)(406). The PE 2(42) sets the unilateral tunnel connection with the PE 3(43)(407). The PE 1(41) transmits a label mapping message to the PE 3(43)(408). The PE 3(43) sets the unilateral tunnel connection to the PE 1(41)(409). The PE 2(42) transmits a label mapping message to the PE 3(43)(410).
