PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support body capable of improving efficiency of tightening work of connection members attached to the vicinity of both end parts and to provide a pneumatic run-flat tire keeping predetermined resistance in the vicinity of a tightening section tightening both end parts of the support body when puncture occurs. SOLUTION: Since end faces 44A, 44B in the longitudinal direction of the support body formed precisely according to set dimension are formed in the direction for forming an angleθfor the direction of width crossing the peripheral direction orthogonally when viewed in the radial direction, the interference of angle parts 46A, 46B and angle parts 48A, 48B is eliminated in the tightening work for tightening the connection members 34 by matching the end faces 44A, 44B mutually. Moreover, since the tightening direction of a bolt 40 and a nut 42 for tightening is inclined by an angleϕfrom the direction crossing the end faces 44A, 44B orthogonally when viewed in the radial direction, component of force in the direction crossing the tightening direction orthogonally of force generated along the end faces 44A, 44B when a vehicle performs run-flat running is suppressed, and reduction of tightening force of the bolt 40 and the nut 42 is prevented.
