<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, low-cost electrophotographic apparatus and a power source device. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 201 transmits a required frequency and duty clock signal to a high voltage power source 202 by the use of a clock transmission means 1. The high voltage power source 202 converts the received clock signal into a triangular wave with a clock=triangular conversion means 3, generates a PWM signal by comparing the triangular wave and a voltage level signal generated for the output of the high voltage power source 202 by the use of a comparison means 502, and controls the output of the high voltage power source 202 in accordance with the PWM signal.
