PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the printing request to be accepted by a printer 30 according to the distance between a printing client 20 or 22 and the printer 20.

SOLUTION: The printer 30 calculates the distance between the printing client 20 which requests a printing and the printer 30 based on printing client position information and printer position information. The printer 30 accepts the printing request from the client 20 when the distance between the both is within a prescribed range, but not accept the request from the client 20 when the distance between the both is out of the prescribed range. When the printing request is not accepted, for example, the printer 30 does not permit the printing client 20 to transmit printing data to the printer 30.
