PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head provided with a magnetic flux guide layer efficiently introducing external magnetic field to a free magnetic layer. SOLUTION: A shape of a magnetic flux guide layer 17 is made almost flat and magnetic flux transmission efficiency can be improved by forming a magnetic section control layer 18 under the magnetic flux guide layer 17 and in a space in front of an opposing plane F side to a recording medium of a multi-layer film T1. Also, as magnetization control of the magnetic flux guide layer 17 is performed by laminating the magnetic flux guide layers 17 on the magnetic section control layer 18, a shape of the magnetic section control layer can be formed as a thin film being almost flat, and a bias magnetic field supplied to magnetic flux guide can be stabilized.
