PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic machining device, which surely and easily machines the patterns on a workpiece from the head thereof. SOLUTION: A plurality of the patterns are formed on a working roller and the reference origin of the patterns is provided on the working roller. In addition, before the working with the working roller, the rotational origin of the working roller is automatically detected and the working roller during its ascent is rotated at the step (S 315) to a pattern located at the position rotated by the predetermined angle from the origin. After that, the working roller is lowered at the step (S 320) and ultrasonic waves are generated. Everytime the pattern is changed at the step (S 350), the working roller during its ascent is rotated so as to set to the head of the pattern worked therewith at the steps (S 315 to S 330) in order to form successively patterns on a sheet material in the working order.
