PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a floor coating layer having high smoothness and sufficient strength and adhesive property in high efficiency. SOLUTION: A floor surface is coated with a floor coating material containing (A) a hydrophilic reaction-curable resin giving a cured film having a contact angle of≤70°to water, (C) an aggregate having an average particle diameter of 50-1,000μm and (D) a porous aggregate having an average particle diameter of≤100μm at a C:D volume ratio of 100:(0.1-5) and capable of forming a coating film having an aggregate ratio of 55-80 vol.% per unit volume.
