PURPOSE: A device for testing a CD ROM skew is provided to automatically drive the device as a CD ROM is loaded and automatically carry out the measurement of horizontal precision for worker's easy correction, wherein a turn table loaded by the CD ROM for skew test is driven by an additional motor for carrying out the correction of guide rails, thereby simplifying the skew test of a pickup. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing a CD ROM skew includes a main body(10) an oscilloscope(20), a turn table and a skew testing reflection mirror(60). A CD ROM is secured to four securing dies(12) formed at four parts of the main body and four corners of the CD ROM are coupled in coupling grooves(11) of the securing dies. The housing has four supporting pins(15) for supporting a bottom surface of the CD ROM, and elastic elements(13) for supporting pickup guide rails(14) by upward elastic force. The oscilloscope mounted to the main body via a supporting die(25) photographs skew states of a pickup from above to display the photographed skew states to a monitor(30). A motor(40) mounted under the CD ROM has a rotation shaft(45) contacting the turn table with friction to rotate the turn table.
