A system control device based on flash memory, has an external housing (1) with an in-build control circuit. The control circuit is formed from a PC-communication interface, a flash memory (C) a CPU (B) and a storage device (D), in which the CPU (B) fully carries out address selection and module conversion and the terminals of this CPU (B) are connected to the CPU (A) to the USB flash memory (C) and to the memory device (D). An Independent claim is given for a method for use of a control device based on flash memory.
