The cryptographic resources are supplied by at least a source (3) comprising a specific access interface (4). The method comprises presenting the application (2) with a mutualised interface (5), which is essentially independent of the sources and of the respective access interfaces. A translation module (6) is placed between the mutualised interface and each interface used to access the cryptographic source in order to provide access to the cryptographic resources from the application via the mutualised interface.
