摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant reinforcing method and device excellent in workability with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The earthquake resistant reinforcing device body 4 has a smaller rectangular outer shape a little smaller than a structural face 2 of a structure 1 and is constituted of a frame 5 constituting the profile and a brace 8 formed in the frame 5. The frame 5 is formed in a rectangle by assembling steel frame members, and bent members 7 are used at the upper side and the right side. The earthquake resistant reinforcing device body 4 is temporarily fixed by inserting a wedge 11 between both ends of the bent member 7 of the frame 5 and the structural face 2. By interposing a fixing member 12 between confronting wedges 11, a compressive force is caused in the axial direction of the wedge 11 and the wedge 11 is more firmly inserted in between the end of the bent member 7 of the frame 5 and the structural face 2 of the structure 1 to generate a connection force, and hence, the earthquake resistant reinforcing device body 4 is firmly fixed to the structural face 2.
