DEVICE FOR EXHAUST-GAS TREATMENT AND METHOD FOR ITS BROKEN-FILTER TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for exhaust-gas treatment and its method for broken-filter treatment wherein the filter is regenerated without breaking it by thermal shock at the time of combustion of matters sticking to the filter.

SOLUTION: This device is provided with a hot air-supply device 13 or a hot-air generation circulator for regenerating the filter by burning the matter sticking to the filter by heat-regeneration gas. The highest temperature in the filter at the time of burning the sticking matters is controlled to temperature (at most 600°C) so as to prevent filter-breakage by thermal shock. A deflector is provided for performing uniform and allover regeneration of the filter. Combustion catalyst and an oxidizing agent are supplied in order to drop the combustion temperature for burning the matters sticking to the filter. Switching is possible between the burn-regeneration mode and a volatilization-regeneration mode for conducting only oil-moist volatilization. When rise in dust concentration is detected by a dust-concentration sensor, the broken part of the filter is sealed with a sealer.
