PURPOSE: Provided is a rotation shuttle for a sewing machine which has a spring for preventing the empty rotation of a bobbin at the bottom of a bobbin cap holder. The dust sludge is absent at the spring area, and the base yarn is prevented from being cut, thereby minimizing the production failure and enhancing the capacity of the sewing machine. CONSTITUTION: The rotation shuttle for a sewing machine comprises a hook body(2) mounted at a driving shaft, a bobbin cap holder(30) inserted into the hook body, a bobbin(4) inserted into the bobbin cap holder, and a bobbin cap body(5) for receiving the bobbin. A spring(20) is mounted at the bottom of the bobbin cap holder to elastically support the bobbin.
