PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus very inexpensively and handily which stops a clearance completely to shut out dust, or the like, from the clearance between the back side of furniture and the like, the wall surface, and the like by allowing even unskilled persons to seal up the clearance simply and accurately with easier handling whether the interval of the clearance is wide or narrow. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an adhesive layer on the undersurface of the rear part of a plate-like body extending long horizontally with the front end of the front part thereof as an elastic contact part slightly warped upward while the plate-like body is formed out of a flexible material and the front part thereof is made thinner gradually to provide a slide part with an arcuate cross section thereof at the thinner tip rim thereof.
