PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact riding type tea leaves plucker low-mounted with a blower. SOLUTION: The sulky tea leaves plucker includes a riding type vehicle body 1 traveling astride a tea tree ridge and a supporting frame 35 making a vertical motion through a lift means 3 with respect to the vehicle body 1. A blower 5 is installed on the vehicle body 1, and the supporting frame 35 is mounted with a tea leaves plucking device 4 functioning to pluck the tea leaves of tea trees through facing on the top surface of the tea tree ridge and communicating via a duct 6 with the blower 5. This riding type tea leaves plucker works to convey tea leaves plucked by the device 4 into a plucked tea leaves container 7 provided on the downstream side of the device 4 with the help of a conveying air blow from the blower 5; wherein the blower 5 is installed turnably about a fan shaft 52 on the sulky vehicle body 1 side, turning via the duct 6 when the device 4 makes a vertical motion by the lift means 3.
