PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated hoist traction device capable of coupling a plurality of sets of manual chain blocks and allowing a single operator to perform safely the hoisting operations even if the number of sets coupled has increased. SOLUTION: The hoist traction device includes a hoist drive device having an input shaft 7a and an output shaft 7b arranged coaxially and furnished with a drive shaft 11 installed under the input and output shafts with its axis dislocated from their axes and is equipped with power transmitting means 8a-8c to work interlocking with the input 7a and output shafts 7b and the drive shaft 11.
