PURPOSE: A rise restricting device of a door glass without a sash in a vehicle is provided to prevent inflow of noise or foreign matters by sealing the vehicle room with contacting to the vehicle body in closing the door glass completely. CONSTITUTION: A rise restricting device of a door glass is composed of a stopper(10) installed perpendicularly to a door glass(2), and a latch(20) contacted to the stopper in moving the door glass up and installed in a door panel(1) to restrict lifting of the stopper. A recessed part is formed in the middle of the stopper, and the latch is spaced from the door panel and extended downward to restrict lifting of the stopper. The motor is stopped automatically by applying overload to the motor with restricting lifting of the door glass at the highest limit of the door glass, and the door glass is positioned accurately.
