A METHOD OF INNER ANTI-CORROSION PROTECTION FOR THE WELDED JOINT ZONE OF PIPES, AND APPLIANCE USED FOR THIS METHOD

The invention lies within the field of manufacturing and assembling pipelines with full-length inner anti-corrosion coating (except the ends of pipes), and it may be used for anti-corrosion protection of welded joint's inner surfaces. The appliance contains a socket manufactured in the form of spiral ribbon equipped by sealant. The spiral is temporarily embraced by knuckle-joint compact assembling knot (KJCAK), fixing the spring and protecting it from self-unwrapping. The spring may be unfixed by undoing the knot and removing it. In the socket's central part, on its outer surface, there exists a channel housing some heat-insulation material in the form of stretchable ring belt. Before welding, on the coupled end of one of the pipes, KJCAK is placed, which embraces the socket and protects it from self-unwrapping. The socket is partially inserted and centered inside one of the pipes to be coupled, and the pipes are assembled for welding, by way of sliding the other pipe's end over the protruding part of the appliance. Between the ends of the pipes, a gap is established. The spiral ribbon with sealant is pressed, with estimated force, to the inner surface of pipe joint, by way of undoing the KJCAK and its subsequent removal from the pipe joint. Then the pipes are welded together.
