A drill (1) with a screw tube (3) and an inner tube (2) is driven into the ground (8) to a chosen depth by screw action, concrete is injected into the inner tube and the drill is raised to a chosen height which is a fraction of the chosen depth. The drill is rotated in an upwards direction before or after raising the drill to the chosen height, in order to unscrew at least part of it from the ground. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Pile sunk using this method, having a foot and/or head which is wider than its middle section; and (2) Ground drill used to form a pile by this method, comprising an outer screw tube, an inner tube and a closure part (5) for the bottom side of the drill, the bottom section of the screw tube comprising two at least partly conical-shaped parts (6, 7) with different angles of inclination.
