PURPOSE: A shell holder device is provided to temporarily fix a shell received from a first transferring device by installing a second transferring device where the shell is held, particularly as the shell is transferred from the first transferring device to the second transferring device. CONSTITUTION: A shell holder device(1) is composed of a base unit(2), a frame(3) installed on the base unit with supporting an inserted shell(10) at a side, at least two holder units(4) supported to rotate by the frame with elastically biasing the shell at a side, a support plate unit(5) installed on the base unit with elastically supporting the shell from the lower part, and a fixing device formed at the holder unit and the support plate unit respectively to fix the holder unit. Therefore, the shell holder device stably supports the shell not to be biased without separate power or artificial operations in fixing or releasing the shell.
