PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member suitably used for working of a bent joint, especially a bent joint for electric heated fusion connection which eliminates waste of a material at forming of the bent joint and has fewer fusion points at a straight pipe part. SOLUTION: In this member made of thermoplastic synthetic resin for the bent joint, straight pipe parts at both sides of a bent part are made into the straight pipe parts with different length, the end of the longer straight pipe part is made into an abutted connection or a pipe insertion port, and the end of the other straight pipe part as an abutted connection part.
