<p>The invention relates to a quantitative NMR determination of spins in rapid exchange between at least two different compartments of a mixture, particularly a physico-chemical mixture. The determination is achieved by means of two consecutive phases of measurement, each carried out by application of a series of pulse sequences to a sample volume for analysis. The method is characterised in that the first measurement phase is achieved with an allowed relaxation time (t1) which effectively allows a total relaxation of the spins in all the compartments present and the second measurement phase is achieved with (an) allowed relaxation time(s) (t2) which only allow a partial relaxation of at least one category of the spins, in other words belonging to one or other of the compartments.</p> |
