<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic adaptor for turning on and off a light, easy to mount, easy to use, and capable of using a current installation as it is without modifying it. <P>SOLUTION: A bulb base and a socket are attached to this human body detecting illumination adaptor 5, and an adaptor case 5 has a pyroelectric infrared sensor 2, a light and darkness discriminating sensor 6, and an infrared human body detecting illumination circuit 3 built-in.
