MILK COLLECTING PIECE WITH A KINK ELEMENT FOR DEFINING KINKING OF A MILK TUBE

The invention relates to a milk collecting piece comprising a kink element, having a bending edge which ensures reliable kinking and also maintains the operating vacuum in the milk tubes which are guided outwards in a transversa l manner with respect to the longitudinal axis thereof. In one embodiment, the collecting milk piece comprises a connecting surface which is provided with an opening wherein the end area of the milk tube is introduced, whereby a reliable function is obtained due to the provision of the kink element. Due to the manner in which the milk tube is placed on the collecting piece, a small er milk coating layer is deposited on the transition areas. In an another embodiment, the bending edge of the kink element is positioned in such a manner that the milk tube is effectively prevented from becoming detached fr om connecting elements which are guided outwards in a transversal manner and al so ensures vacuum-tight kinking. The invention further relates to a kink elemen t, which can be fixed in a simple manner or with only a small number of structural modifications to existing milk collecting pieces.
