THYROSINASE INHIBITOR AND SKIN EXTERNAL AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new thyrosinase inhibitor and a skin external agent.

SOLUTION: This thyrosinase inhibitor is obtained from a pine bark extract preferably containing ≥20 wt.% OPC (oligomeric prothocyanidine) and ≥5 wt.% catechin. The skin external agent incorporated with the thyrosinase inhibitor can be provided as the skin external agent inhibiting collagenase. Since these are derived from natural products, they are safe.
