PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that washing must be started in a conventional washing apparatus after an object to be washed drawn up from the sea is passed through a case from the inlet thereof to the outlet thereof and, therefore, in a case such that the object to be washed is a long object like a scallop hung down from a rope, preparation work is troublesome. SOLUTION: A case inlet 15 for introducing the object 3 to be washed and a case outlet 16 for feeding out the object 3 to be washed are formed to a case 14 in which a washing apparatus is housed. A side surface introducing port 17 is formed to the side surface 14a of the case 14 and allowed to communicate with the case inlet 15 and the case outlet 16 so that the object 3 to be washed can be taken in and out of the case 14 from the side surface introducing port 17.
