<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive temperature-sensitive resistance element used over a long period by preventing progress of corrosion from a lead wire end, even when it is in a poor environment, and to provide a thermal flow rate sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature-sensitive resistance element is provided with a base material, consisting of an insulator, a temperature sensitive resistor provided on the surface of the base material, and a lead wire connected electrically to the temperature sensitive resistor and covering the outer peripheral part of a core material mainly comprising a base material with a noble metal.
