METHOD FOR MEASURING PLANAR DISTRIBUTION OF FUEL SPRAY USING COLOR DIGITAL CAMERA FOR EMPLOYING OPTICAL PATTERNATOR IN VARIOUS FIELDS

PURPOSE: A method for measuring planar distribution of a fuel spray using a color digital camera is provided to employ an optical patternator in various fields while maintaining reliability of a detected signal detected when a common digital camera is used. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring planar distribution of a fuel spray using a color digital camera includes the steps of spraying mixing fuel through an injector and irradiating a laser planar light on a predetermined region in a direction vertical to a spraying direction of the mixing fuel. A planar spraying image of the mixing fuel in the predetermined region, into which the laser planar light is irradiated, is photographed by means of a color digital camera equipped with an optical filter. A mass distribution of the mixing fuel is detected based on a fluorescent signal.
