PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupler in which manufacturing cost is reduced by lowering connection loss, improving wavelength dependency, and enhancing airtightness. SOLUTION: The holding member for holding a ferrule and an optical lens, and the collimator block 20, of one optical fiber collimator 30 are joined to each other through a columnar circumferential slidable contact face, which is movable n a prescribed direction orthogonally crossing an optical fiber axis and which is tiltable in a plane crossing at right angles to that movable direction as well as containing the above axis. The holding member and the collimator block of the other optical fiber collimator 31 are joined to each other through a columnar circumferential slidable contact face, which is movable in the direction orthogonal to the above movable direction of the one optical fiber collimator and which is tiltable in the direction right-angled to the above tiltable direction of the one optical fiber collimator.
