<p>It is intended to provide a method of detecting an antitelomerase antibody usable as a disease marker. Namely, a method of detecting an antitelomerase antibody characterized by comprising reacting a protein constituting telomerase, a template RNA, a complex thereof or fragments thereof with the antitelomerase antibody in a biological sample and analyzing the reaction product. Significantly higher antitelomerase antibody titers are observed in biological samples from subjects with various diseases than in normal subjects, which indicates that the antibody is usable as a disease marker reflecting pathological conditions.</p> |
