<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically selecting an optimum tender by asking a plurality of print shops for bidding of a print job. <P>SOLUTION: This application includes a computer-implemented method for controlling the selection of the print shop for executing the print job. The method generally includes a step for transmitting a tender request to a plurality of print shops for one print job. The method includes a step for receiving at least one tender for the print job from the plurality of print shops as well. The method also includes a step for selecting one of the tenders received from the plurality of print shops. The tender can be selected according to a defined standard.
