PURPOSE: A handle assembly for a door of a refrigerator is provided to facilitate assembly work of the handle assembly and improve reliability of the handle assembly. CONSTITUTION: A handle assembly(40) for a door of a refrigerator comprises a handle(50) with ends cylindrically formed; deco handles(70,70') combined with the ends of the handle and fastened to the door; holder brackets(60,60') connecting the handle and the deco handles; and a location unit formed to a position corresponding to the handle and the holder bracket, to prevent relative rotation of the handle and the holder bracket. The location unit includes plural fixing ribs(52) longitudinally formed on the inner peripheral surface of the handle, and rib grooves(62,62') longitudinally formed on a side of the holder bracket. Thus, the deco handles are exactly fixed to a position of the handle. Accordingly, relative rotation of the handle and deco handle is prevented and the assembly work is quickly performed.
