PURPOSE: A method for controlling a client operator menu is provided to simplify an operator adding process and a menu modifying process by grouping the operators of same character and limiting the available menu by each group. CONSTITUTION: If a legal user logs in to a client, a UI(User Interface) of the client requests the menu information for the group including the operator to a server(S32). The server searches a group name of the operator from an operator information part by using an ID of the operator, searches the menu information for the group from a group information part by using the searched group name, and transmits the searched menu information to the UI(S38). The UI sets up the execution availability of each menu by using the menu information(S40). When the operator requests the menu execution, the requested menu is executed by the execution availability set to each menu(S56).
