PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading device which can achieve continuous kneading treatment and enables setting of a proper kneading condition according to the change of state of a material to be kneaded during continuous kneading to achieve high kneading efficiency. SOLUTION: This kneading device is provided with a barrel 7 having a chamber 6 that is a cylindrical hollow part, a twin-screw set 5 which rotates in the chamber 6 to extrude the material to be kneaded to the downstream side, and kneading blade parts (14, 15) which are incorporated in the screw set 5 and knead the material to be kneaded by applying shearing to the material to be kneaded in wedge-shaped spaces 20c and chip clearances (20a, 20b) which are formed between chip parts and an inner wall 6a of the chamber.
