PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily deal with a new communication protocol in a network system such as a LAN analyzer for performing various kinds of processing to a communication signal according to a communication protocol. SOLUTION: The network system is provided with a file input means capable of inputting a data file PF expressed by a protocol structure of the communication protocol in a data structure description language such as XML (Extensible Markup Language), a signal input means 11 for inputting the communication signal to be transmitted to a communication line, a collation means for collating data structures between each of a plurality of kinds of communication protocols including the communication protocol expressed in the data file PF and the inputted communication signal, and a protocol analyzing means 12 for analyzing the data of the communication signal according to a matched communication protocol.
