CARDIAC EVENT DETECTOR

摘要

A detector for detecting a cardiac event in an IEGM comprises a bank of digital filters. The filter bank comprises at least two filters with substantially different impulse responses corresponding to different properties of said event. The filters are each adapted to consider one portion of the IEGM and each delivers one value per time unit corresponding to the morphological resemblance between the IEGM and the filter impulse response. An analysing unit is provided to combine these values in a predetermined way for comparison with a predefined detection criteria.
