MONITORING METHOD, SYSTEM, MONITOR TERMINAL, PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily monitoring a network device, a system, a monitor terminal, a program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A monitoring center 1 transmits an event for setting a monitoring range to a network entity 4. A monitor terminal 2 transmits a monitor filter showing the condition of receiving an alarm event for informing about a failure of a network device to the entity 4. The entity 4 registers the event for setting the monitoring range and the monitor filter, and transfers them to other network entities. The network device 3 transmits to the entity 4 the alarm event for reporting a failure of itself upon detection thereof. The entity 4 transmits the alarm event to other network entities 4 and, if agreeing with the monitor filter, outputs a failure to the monitor terminal 2 which has registered the monitor filter.
