PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket for a display lamp in which the mounting independent from errors of the plate thickness can be made if the plate thickness of a printed-circuit board is within a tolerable range. SOLUTION: In a flange 2 for receiving the printed-circuit board, formed in the middle of the main body of the socket made of a synthetic resin, wherein a cylindrical part fitted with a metal mold minute lamp without the base is arranged is installed at the upper part and wherein a shaft-formed leg part 5 is installed at the lower part, deeply notched longitudinal grooves 16 whose deep ends reach close to the flange base end are arranged and installed at both lateral positions of a flange piece part 18 for drawing out a wire of a prescribed width wherein the tip part of a lead wire 9 is exposed, and a lateral groove 17 placed at the lower flange face and carved and installed communicates between the deep ends of the both parallel longitudinal grooves 16, and the flange piece part 18 for drawing out the wire partitioned by these 3-directional groove parts is made to be a movable flange part 19 which appropriately bends corresponding to fluctuations of the plate thickness within the tolerable range of the printed-circuit board.
