PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured and inexpensive through fill type closure which does not stain a receptacle, a container or its surrounding environment in inserting/filling a fluid material therein. SOLUTION: This through flow type closure 12 for a fluid material receptacle 11 is provided with a main body 17 having an insertion hole 18 and a closure operation member 20 for opening the closure device 14 of a container 10. Between the edge of the hole 18 and the operation member 20, an annular gap is formed. An extensible annular sealing member 24 is mounted on the main body. When the receptacle and the container are mutually separated, the sealing member seals the gap between the main body and the closure operation member. When the receptacle and the container are combined, the closure operation member forms a seal between the main body and the container before the member opens the container closure device.
