PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink feeding and controlling system for an ink-jet recording apparatus being rational to a user and improving recovery efficiency of a used ink container. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording apparatus is provided with a means for separately storing an amount of an ink for practical use and an amount of use of the ink for maintenance use, and a function for transmitting data on each amount of the uses through a communication circuit. An ink feeding service controlling apparatus is provided with an inputting means for inputting contents of various service requirements of an ink purchasing person on purchase of a new ink container and supplement of the ink into the container, a means for calculating a sales price of the ink in accordance with the contents of the service requirements, and an outputting means for displaying the calculated sales price of the ink on an ink supplier side. An ink feeding and controlling system for the ink-jet recording apparatus for rational utilization and for improving recovery efficiency of the ink container can be realized by mutually connecting the ink-jet recording apparatus and the ink feeding service controlling apparatus through the communication circuit. |
