STEEL SHEETING WALL FOR FOOTING OPEN CAISSON OF BRIDGE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A construction method of a steel sheeting wall for a footing open caisson of a bridge is provided to shorten a period of construction and to reduce construction expenses by decreasing manpower, hours and equipment. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of a steel sheeting wall for a footing open caisson of a bridge comprises the steps of: manufacturing a sheeting wall unit(200) with steel plates; assembling sheeting wall units(200) continuously until the upper end is exposed to the surface of the wall; forming an earthy ramp by filing up the sheeting unit(200) with earthy materials; forming an open caisson(300) by excavating the center of the earthy ramp filled with the earthy materials; and forming a bridge foundation by filling up the open caisson(300) with concrete, then drawing the dismantled sheeting wall unit(200) to transfer to the open caisson construction site.
